WooCommerce Product Composer

Overview

This plugin enables dynamic product bundle creation inside WooCommerce. It replaces a fragmented purchasing process with an integrated experience, allowing customers to configure bundles directly at the point of decision, improving clarity and usability.

Engineering challenges

The challenge was creating a smoother bundle-building experience within WooCommerce’s existing product architecture. The plugin had to feel native to the storefront while still enabling flexible custom behavior and functionality.

Implementation notes

I built the plugin as custom WooCommerce functionality using WordPress and PHP, and implemented UI improvements to make bundle composition more intuitive, accessible, and easier for users to navigate.

Outcomes
